What does the result look like?
The iGENEA test provides you with information about your origins and enables you to find relatives all over the world. You will receive:
- a detailed result online
- access to the world's largest DNA genealogy database, which gives you the opportunity to contact your genetic cousins
iGENEA Expert
The iGENEA Expert Test shows your regional origins in percentages. Additionally you will get Haplogroup, People of origin and region of origin of the paternal AND the maternal lineage.
The test of the paternal lineage is the most detailed test according to the current state of science. The origin can thus be determined even more precisely than with the Premium Test. You may also find more relatives in the database than with the Premium Test.
iGENEA Premium
The iGENEA Premium Test shows your regional origins in percentages. Additionally you will get Haplogroup, People of origin and region of origin of either the paternal or the maternal lineage. In the database you may find even more genetic relatives then with the basic test.

The iGENEA Basic Test shows your regional origins in percentages. Additionally you will get a list of genetic relatives.
This is how the DNA origin analysis works
A Mucus Sample suffices to get a sample of your DNA. Taking the sample is simple and painless and can be done at home. Send the samples with the envelop included in the sampling kit.
