Embarking on a personal journey to decipher my genetic heritage, I submitted to an iGENEA DNA test. This voyage of discovery aimed to unravel the mysteries surrounding my family name, Hänsen. My DNA test results, unveiling a rich tapestry of my ancestral history stretching from the common Western European haplogroup R1b to significant markers in Northern Europe and Viking heritage, have unequivocally reshaped my understanding of my roots.
I recently had an opportunity to take an iGENEA DNA test and delve into my genetic heritage. The main interest was to unearth any hidden truths or rich narratives that could be traced back to my family name, Hänsen. The process was effortless, invigorating, and immensely enlightening.
